Hyper-Oxi-Cycle System Specifications Designed as a wash water recycling unit for golf course and other turf related applications. The unit will reduce or remove from the waste stream free oils, most BOD, COD and suspended solids. The wetted components of the system, except for pumps, are made of non-ferrous materials, are UV resistant and will resist attack by any compound found to be in a golf or turf related waste stream. It is a simple, powerful system that is easy to operate, maintain, and simply works. COMPONENTS 1. Grass/solids dewatering module (Grass Grab-er GG-8): a. Automatic submersible feed pump, ½ hp, 115 v, 60 Hz, 10.4 amps pumps grass clippings, sand, rocks, golf balls and other solids up to 2” diameter to filter manifold. b. Eight bag filter manifold on a 360 gallon HDPE dewatering vessel contains solids and allows water to pass through. c. Automatic submersible dewatering vessel discharge pump, ½ hp, 115 v, 60 Hz, 10.4 amps discharges clean water. d. Two self-draining, portable final stage drying carts are furnished. e. Dual parallel bag filter units with 25 micron reusable bag filters are valved to allow bag change without flow interruption. Non corrosive polyethylene construction. 2. Hyper oxidation module (HOC-750): a. 750 gallon high density polyethylene domed tank. b. Stand-mounted SQ 15 dry oxygen generator (15 scfh @ 5 psi). c. Stand-mounted ODIB dry ozone generator (9.0 gm/hr @ 15 cfh) d. Recirculation pump stainless steel, ½ hp, 55 gpm (120 v, 60 Hz, 10A). e. Ozone inductor/diffuser, O3 converts organic material to CO2 and H2O. f. GAC excess ozone destruct canister. g. Processing rate, 5 to 20 gpm. 3. Clean Water Recycle Module: a. 500 gallon domed HDPE tank. b. Low-level float switch. c. Make-up water valve (back flow preventer required). d. PR-19 demand type, bladder primed repressurization pump, from 5 to 20 gpm on demand. e. Tandem 20 micron cartridge filters. f. Processing rate up to 5 to 20 gpm. 4. Summary of Operation: The system removes the grass clippings and employs them as filter aids to reduce solids including suspended BOD and COD compounds. Filtering operations are confined to the first module where grass and coarse solids are captured in the eight 4 gallon capacity bags and fine solids are removed in the dual X-125 filter bags. The grass clippings in these filters are further dewatered in the 45 gallon portable drying carts. When the wastewater enters the Hyper oxidation module it will be free of visible solids and will have entrained, dissolved, or emulsified organic matter. The powerful ozone system will oxidize such matter and produce clear water for reuse. Clean water is returned to the wash pad automatically by the demand feed pump from the 500 gallon clean water reservoir. The HOC-750 reduces BOD and COD, more efficiently than biological systems and avoids the problems of biomass, excess sludge disposal, and microbial repopulation. |
